The sides of the ring has the original string ropes surrounding the fighters. The boxers are hand painted celluloid figures in nearly mint condition. They set upon metal plates that spin around with each round as the boxers throw swings for a knock-out. The key on the side winds up and then the slide on the left side is pushed in to begin the round. The action is somewhat aggressive and for the celluloid figures to last this long without damage is surprising. The original cardboard box has several taped sections and is missing a couple of small pieces but its incredible that it is even still with the toy. The litho on the box is terrific and should display nicely next to the boxing ring. The Knockout Champs toy measures 7 1/4" wide, 7 1/4" deep and 7 1/4 high. These are extremely rare to find anymore and this example may be the highlight for someone's collection of old Louis Marx Toys.
